Down on the Farm

Yesterday we all took a trip to Abbott Farms in Baldwinsville. We went with my friend Kristen and her kids and we all had a great time.

After paying money to do all of the various things offered at the farm, what do my kids want to do? Climb the big hill of dirt.

Then they moved from climbing up something to sliding down something - the Super Slide.

After the kids had their fill of going up and down, we hopped up on a wagon and took a hayride over to the pumpkin patch.

My boys and one of Kristen's boys (Griffin's best friend Adam) enjoying the ride.

Christopher eats his veggies.

Griffin playing with Hannah. He looooooooves Hannah.

Brendan and his friend Steven show off their muscles.

It's round, it's orange - it must be a basketball!

After the pumpkin patch, we headed for the corn mazes. The big kids took on the big maze (which we were told would take at least an hour to complete!) while the rest of us made our way through the kiddie maze. Grant leads the way.

The four musketeers.

After the kiddie maze we considered heading into the big maze, but Vance and I had to leave in less than an hour (pool guy was coming to finally close the pool!). We let Grant stay with the Kristen and her kids, while we took Griffin back to the pumpkin patch for some pictures.

Griffin gives the pumpkins a big thumbs-up.

Such an imp.

Heading back on the hay wagon, we saw some creative apple-picking.

What a handsome face!

Now that's a big pumpkin!

Up close and personal with Mr. Sheep.

One last picture before we mooooove on home.
